After quite a dry spell I sat down and worked feverishly on this piece (I'm unsure of what to name her yet). She is a mixed media piece on canvas board, done in acrylics, decorative paper and ink.

Hot Air Balloon Commission

I've been absent for far too long from my blog it seems. Let's see if we can rectify that. Here is a commission I completed late last year. Done in acrylics on canvas board and a copy of music my client's father wrote for her sons. A very meaningful, sweet piece for her children.

Juno

'Juno' ~ 11x17 acrylic painting on canvas board and copy of a 15th-16th century manuscript page. This painting was a commission for my beautiful cousin who is an opera singer, and based on a role she sang, Juno from Handel's Semele.
