"The Tree Hugger" Watercolor!

Not your momma's tree-hugger! I had a blast painting this; I'd never attempted such a busy little painting before! I myself love hugging trees. There's an incredible peace to it. This lovely lady has found the joy in it, too!
Measures 9x11 on 140 lb. watercolor paper. I can't get enough of painting with watercolors! Look for several new ones to be posted soon!

New Bookmarks! Die-Cut Little Beauties...

Here are some examples of my new die-cut bookmarks! Look for them in my Etsy Shop!

New Painting! The Three Muses...

Here's one of my newest watercolor paintings, entitled "The Three Muses"! I combined my previous form of painting close-up whimsical garden scenes with my little ladies, and this is the result. It took me 5 days to complete, and so I'm quite proud of it! It measures 11x15 on 140 lb. watercolor paper.

In the Works!!!

I now have a laminating machine! I'm so excited that my family's lucky I don't laminate everything in the house that isn't nailed down. ;)
Because of this I have some great new bookmakrs in the works. I've printed pics of my paintings on heavy cardstock, cut around the central image in each, and then laminated them! They're incredible die-cut bookmarks that are truly stunning, and I can't wait to offer them for sale in my Etsy shop! I also have some great mini bookmarks in the works!
As for original paintings, I've been working hard on both acrylics and watercolors lately. I'm finding my groove with watercolors and am really exploring mew layouts and more intricate images. Look for some more originals to make their way to my Etsy shop in the near future!
