"Jack's Visitor"

Beneath a grey October sky, surrounded by fallen leaves, a happily grinning jack-o-lantern gets an unexpected visitor in a soft grey mouse with a tiny pink nose. With it's soft browns, yellows and oranges, this painting is the perfect companion for a cold Autumn day. My first attempt at a full watercolor picture, it measures 5"x7" and is on a 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolour paper.

"Harmony"

"Harmony" was painted to reflect a complete and total joy of being at one with the natural world surrounding you. This is I hope the first of many in the Tranquil Earth series of paintings. Adrift on a background of purples and blues, with the barest hints of green, a silent woman in a dress the color of a sunset lets go and allows herself to be utterly embraced by the beauty and tranquility of nature.

Here is our "Prince in Disguise", a lovely little green frog just waiting for his true love's kiss. He relaxes longingly below towering daisies and all his little buggy friends.
